Programs
IKONZ
& HOT SHOTS Competitive Girl's
Team (By Try-Out)
We offer classes for USAG competitive Levels 4-10.
Each level requires a different amount of training
hours. Our coaches teach new tricks by spotting safely
and confidently while making positive corrections.
We believe in teaching progression in skills so the
gymnast can be ready to quickly and smoothly transition
into the next level.
MINI
HOT SHOTS Recreational
Compulsories (By Try-Out)
This is our Girl's Pre-Team class. It is
geared toward our competitive team and for gymnasts who want
to eventually compete. These gymnasts have to be tested and
complete certain skills before they can move into this class.
LIL'
AGGIES Beginning
Recreational (Ages 5 & up,
girls and boys)
This class is for first time or semi-new
gymnasts. It is also for gymnasts who do not have the desire
to compete. Our coaches teach many skills and include all
four events; vault, bars, beam, and floor. Safety is always
a high priority. Our class sizes are small and we will never
have more than seven gymnasts to one coach.
FLIP
FLOPS Tumbling (Ages
7 & up, girls and boys)
Our tumbling class is an hour of just tumbling
skills on the floor. Tumblers will learn the basics of tumbling
through to any advanced skill they want to learn. This class
includes front and back tumbling. Our gym boasts in-ground
pits that will help to better learn and teach many skills.
TINY
TYTANS Preschool
(Ages 2-5, girls and boys)
Children will learn coordination and listening
skills while enjoying gymnastics. This is a theme based program
that will help spark imagination and teach basic preschool
principles.
Adult
Tumbling Club
This club is offered to anyone, age 17 or
older, with an interest in learning gymnastics
or tumbling skills.
Whether you have previous experience as a gymnast, tumbler,
cheerleader, or have no experience at all,
this class is geared toward fun and safe learning for adults
at any level. Since our gym is located on USU campus, classes
consist of mostly USU students, and is paid for on a semester-basis,
not monthly.

be applied to your next month's tuition. Your child is enrolled
in
our
program
until
we
are
notified that we/she is not continuing. We must be
notified before the first class of the month or you are responsible
for the tuition payment for that month.
Any bank fees associated with checks returned to us by the
bank
will be your responsibility and will be billed to your account.

A yearly Non-refundable/Non-transferable
fee of $30.00 must accompany each registration application.
The fee

first registers in August 2008, the registration fee
is not due again until Aug 2009)
Family
Discount
A 10% discount is given for any children of the same
family after the first child is enrolled at the regular
tuition price. This does not apply to special programs
that are already discounted or to the membership fee.
Make
Up Policy
It has been the continuous policy at Tytans to give
NO REFUNDS FOR MISSED CLASSES.
Please make every effort to ensure your child’s
attendance for each class. However, if you know your
child is going to miss a class, please notify us ahead
of time. We will make every attempt to find an open
class as soon as possible. Your child must be currently
enrolled to do make-ups and they must be completed
the same month of absence. It is unfortunate but occasionally,
classes are cancelled because of snow, ice, instructor
illness, or any other unforeseen circumstance. It is
extremely difficult to reschedule an entire class.
Therefore, we request that you reschedule with a coach
at your convenience based on availability. NO CREDITS
WIL BE GIVEN.
Promptness
Please make every effort to arrive for class on time. Not
only is this a matter of encouraging good manners and
responsible behavior, but a lack of proper warm-up
leads to unnecessary injuries.
Snow
Days
If
we are closed or are closing because of inclement weather,
we will notify you by phone if possible. If you are uncertain
as to whether there will be class call
(435) 232-6090 or check www.tytansgymnasticsusu.com. Please
remember that your class has to be rescheduled and that we
do not give credits.
Attire

for the boys. No socks or shoes.
Team girls - A leotard or a tight tank top and biker shorts. T-shirts or sweatshirts
may not be worn in the gym.

Discipline
It is the policy of Tytans Gymnastics to
keep consistency in the way we handle discipline in the
gym. Of course, we hope this will not have to become an
issue, but we do want it to be clear to all parents and
gymnasts how we will handle it if a situation were to arise.
We will also be sure to notify parents of ANY discipline
problems immediately.
1st Warning – Verbal
Warning. We will give a verbal warning letting the gymnast
know that their behavior is
not acceptable.
2nd Warning – Timeout. We will give the gymnast
a time-out appropriate for their age.
3rd Warning – Circuit. Where age appropriate, conditioning
will be given to the gymnast that coincides with the behavior
problem.
4th Warning – Call Parents. We will call the parents
and notify them of the problem and ask them to pick up
their gymnast from practice as soon as possible. The gymnast
will be asked to write an apology letter in order to be
allowed to practice again.
If further discipline is needed or this warning system
repeats regularly, we will have a meeting with the gymnast,
parents of the gymnast, and the coaches to discuss the
matter further.
